GET UP TO NET 30 WITH S&K RIGHT NOW!
A couple of weeks ago we told you about a new program we are using. Inzap is a division of Wells Fargo that will allow you to apply for net terms on a case-by-case basis. If approved you can get up to Net 30 with S&K. Simply visit http://www.inzap.com and apply on line. Not everyone will get Net 30 instantly, but you may be able to get Net 7 and if all goes well, we will increase your credit terms in the future. This program is in the test phases and will continue based on customer response and opinion. Please feel free to drop me a line and tell me what you think. scott@skwholesale.com. AMD HAMMERS
Last week I told you about the future for AMD. I ended the story telling anyone interested in more information about the Clawhammer and Sledgehammer to contact me. I spent a lot of time answering emails. I guess I should have just included a little more info so here it is. Both these “hammers” are going to be 64 bit processors designed to run with the new 64 bit O/S’s. (See the newsletter from May 6th) The Clawhammer will be a single and dual processor solution and the Sledgehammer will be a quad and eight-way solution. Both will be manufactured on the .13micron SOI (Silicon on Insulator). Thanks again to Mike Morgan from AMD for his expertise.
DO YOU WANT COLORED COMPONENTS?
I honestly never thought this trend would take off. A couple of year ago I ignored all requests for black cases and other components. I humbly apologize. It seems the industry is changing from the all ugly off white to a more colorful future. We will soon be stocking aluminum cases with clear panels and various colors of keyboards, speakers, mice etc. At this time we are going through the stacks of suppliers who have inundated us with these product spec sheets. It may take a while to investigate all of these and review the samples sent to us.
