NOW FOR THE REAL PRICE DROP

As mentioned in the last newsletter, Intel had a price reduction.  Now it’s finally here.  Take note that the best bang for the buck right now on P4 processors is a 3.0Ghz with 1MB Buffer.  At $200 this is the sweet spot in P4.  You may also note that the 3.0 Ghz LGA version of the P4 is only $201.  That makes the decision to move to new technology very simple. 

AMD XP processors are still available but they won’t last much longer.  Sempron processors are taking over and they are now on the pricelist..   We will continue to carry the XP’s as long as possible but we only expect it to last about another month.    

This time of year, there are many items that come up “short.”  There is high demand in the market right now for a lot of different items ranging from CPU’s to keyboards to motherboards and hard drives.  A lot of people call us up and want these items the same day.  Please order as early as possible as it is taking us a couple of days sometimes to bring these items in.  We have about 97% success bringing items in within 24 hours.  However, because of the season it may take longer especially if it is a new technology item such as PCI –X products.
