RANDOM INFO AND A COUPLE OF DEALS

We have a couple miscellaneous tidbits of info this time and a couple of special deals for you.

Dual Layer DVD burners are now available.  Both Sony and Liteon are available.  Sony is burning at 8X and Liteon at 16X.  Dual Layer means that with dual layer media, you can get up to 8.5GB of data on a single sided disk.  These burners will also burn regular DVD media, both plus and minus, and also to CDRW.  As the pitch goes “It’s the last burner you will ever need!” At least for the next 6 to 12 months.

AMD XP processors are not dying out as quickly as expected.  However, Sempron processors are cheaper for the same clock speed.  We’ll still bring in XP’s if you want it but we are now stocking Sempron only.

Technology changes so fast we have a hard time keeping up especially when we are short staffed.  The current pricelist has been updated about 75%.  Keyboards, monitors, networking, and video cards (other than ATI) have not been completed but should be done by next week.  If you want to verify price and availability on these items just give us a call.
